The Ichetucknee Family Campground allows you to camp in an RV or rent cabins and can even paddle the Ichetucknee River. The campground is in Fort White Florida.
For camping, you can choose either the tent or primitive camping area. You can also use the sewage treatment station when you are camping in an RV. You can also rent rafts, tubes and paddles to paddle the Ichetucknee River. You can also book a group campsite. People who do so will have access to a large and peaceful camping site. You can also make use of the picnic tables as well as the basketball hoop and volleyball net.
The campground is just a few minutes from the Ichetucknee State Park. This park is a great place for tubing and boating. The river is a six-mile long creek with clear, transparent water. It comes from freshwater springs. This makes it a great place to swim. There is also an outdoor grill if you aren’t sure whether to go on the river. You can also rent a canoe or kayak.

The campground is accessible all year. Fireworks can be enjoyed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. A small store is located at the entrance. The store has everything from cigarettes to scuba gear. You can rent tubes at the general store.
The campground is a very nice place to stay, but there are a few things to keep in mind. First, make sure you are familiar with the rules. If you plan to stay in an RV, expect to have to negotiate narrow roads. The road is made from fine sand. Wet feet can cause you to step on loose sand that could get into your RV. Dog owners should ensure their pets are kept in a designated area. They are also prohibited from barking.
Another common complaint is that the bathrooms aren't adequate. They are located next to the main building and not very convenient. It is not possible to use the toilets in large groups. You will also need to look for alternative accommodations if you are looking for Wifi at the campground.
Smoakhouse ranch, which has been serving the Ichetucknee region since 1994, can also be viewed. The ranch and the campground are on 50 acres. You can enjoy hiking, fishing, and even a hot breakfast for a mere $99. The ranch also has farm animals. You can also rent fully-equipped cabins.

An entry fee is required if you are planning to visit the Ichetucknee River. The $10 entry fee is required for campers who aren't camping. You can also rent canoes, kayaks, and tubes. For weekend visitors, one of the 750 spots located along the north bank of the river can be reserved. You can use the shuttle service if needed.
