The Sned-Acres Family Campground near Ovid in New York isn't your standard campground. Not only does it offer a plethora of amenities, the park is pet friendly, which is a must for me and my batty wife. It's also close to a multitude of wineries. This makes it an ideal location for weekend getaways, especially for those who enjoy fine dining.
Sned-Acres Family also has a pet-friendly area. It is located just a few minutes from Watkins Glen. There you can enjoy some golf or other recreational activities including fishing. This is a good thing as the weather has been a bit chilly the past few days. Not to mention the attractions and state parks nearby.
It is also an ideal base for traveling to remote areas. There are some perks to the park like free wi-fi and an easy mail box. Also, the staff is friendly, reliable, and trustworthy.
