The Lake Raystown Family Camping Resort can be found in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. This family campground is 100 acres and offers cabin, RV and tent accommodations. It has free WiFi and a catch and release lake. There are also 60 acres of walking trails. The resort also features a marina, a green-grass course and a marina. This is a great place for your pet to have fun while you travel.

There are two public beaches on the lake. The Seven Points is the ideal area to enjoy a sandy beach. You can rent a houseboat on the lake or hire a fisherman to take you out on the water. It is home to many museums that offer local history. For those of you with a taste for racing, the Hesston Speedway is a good bet.

Numerous attractions are located nearby, including Trough Creek State Park, Allegrippis State Park, Whipple Dam State Park, as well as Trough Creek State Park. All these attractions can be found within a short driving distance of our campground. The Allegrippis Trails are actually part of Raystown Mountain Bike Skill Park. While the park itself is a little on the small side, it does offer some of the best mountain bike trails in the state. Other places to see and play include the nearby Six Points and Mount Hermon ski areas.

The proximity of the lake to the first class campsites is unbeatable. There are 250 campsites covering more than 100 acres. Each campsite has all the necessary amenities including water, fire ring, and electric. They are also close to the aforementioned allegrippis, namely the hiking and biking trails.

Obviously, you can't expect a luxury RV or a full service cabin at the resort. You can still expect a nice room for your money. Raystown Lake Family camping Resort offers many perks, including a catch-and-release pond, a marina and a swimming pool. There are also pet friendly rooms. You can also enjoy a scenic drive through rolling hills of Blue Ridge Mountains from the site.

The lake is also surrounded with 21,000 acres of open land, much of it belonging to the Army Corps of Engineers. You can see that there are many areas that are protected from residential development. This is the paradox of it all. Although there are a few houses that have been built, one unfortunately fell down the hill without warning. The resort also offers a dog-friendly area. Your pet must be kept on a 6-foot lead outside your vehicle.

Raystown Lake Family Camping Resort may have its share of tricks, but it's still a fun place to be. While there are some things you should consider when deciding between this resort and other nearby tweeps, it is worth a visit as it is the only one in the area.
