
Brunswick Family Campground is only private campground on C&O Canal. There are four cabins, a camp store and a bathhouse. It is convenient to the Potomac River and Harpers Ferry. The park features a number of amenities, including a playground, a boat ramp, and a bathhouse.
River & Trail Outfitters manages the campground, and offers discounts on a number of tours for campers. The company's "Sunset Float", a guided kayak/canoe tour on the Potomac River, is a great way for you to enjoy the area's natural beauty. You can also spot wildlife at this time. A 10% discount is available on all tours except the canopy tour.

Throughout its long history, transportation and immigration were important to the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Parks. The C&O Canal covers nearly 185 mile of waterway and is home to many historic sites as well museums and attractions. It is a popular tourist destination. The park is situated between mile markers 54-55, which makes it an easy drive from downtown Frederick.

There is also a beautiful playground, a bathhouse and four cabins in the park. However, these facilities are not for the weak of heart. There are plenty of activities in the area such as shopping, sightseeing, and eating. Monocacy Battlefield and Brunswick Heritage Museum make up a few of many attractions and parks within the region. Maryland and DC are both less than an hour away. If you're looking for a more relaxing retreat, the park has several tent and RV sites, as well as several cabins for rent. The park is pet-friendly and allows leashed pets.
The Brunswick Family Campground can be used by both outdoor enthusiasts and families. The campground is right next to the C&O Canal.
